At Industria Acosta Pramon we have been rivet manufacturers in Barcelona since 1947. We design, produce and ship directly from our factory a complete range of industrial rivets — self-piercing, double, tubular and complementary washers — for sectors as diverse as leather goods, footwear, garment manufacturing, advertising banners, marine industry and furniture.

Rivet types we manufacture

Self-piercing rivets

Self-piercing rivets have a sharpened tip geometry that perforates the material in the same action as the riveting. They do not require a pre-drilled hole, which speeds up installation and reduces alignment errors.

• Typical applications: quality leather goods, footwear, belts, sleeves, denim jeans, leather accessories.
• Materials: brass, nickel-plated steel, aluminium.
• Finishes: bright or matte nickel, natural brass, antique gold, enamel in white, black and RAL colours on demand.

Double rivets

The double rivet consists of two pieces that assemble together: the head (visible part) and the stem (hidden part). When riveted, the stem expands inside the head, creating a firm union with a clean finish on both sides of the material.

• Typical applications: mid-to-high-end garment manufacturing, leather goods, bookbinding, advertising tarps.
• Available series: double rivet I, II, III, by gauge and diameter.
• Materials: brass, steel, aluminium.

Tubular rivets

The tubular rivet has a hollow cylindrical body that deforms upon installation, holding the material between the head and base. It is the classic rivet of the textile and leather industry.

• Typical applications: belts, technical covers, industrial equipment, backpacks, office chairs.
• Available in a wide range of lengths and diameters to suit the thickness of the material.

Washers and complementary hardware

Alongside rivets we manufacture the washers used as counterparts:

• Brass washers (DIN 125, DIN 9021 and custom sizes).
• Nickel-plated steel washers.
• Aluminium washers.

Minimum order, lead times and made-to-order production

For stocked products we do not apply a minimum order beyond the usual commercial batch. For special orders:

• Standard finishes (nickel, blackened, white/black enamel): immediate availability.
• Custom RAL colours and textures (hammered, satin, granulated): minimum order and lead time depending on reference.
• Custom sizes: for industrial projects with volume, we can manufacture rivets with head, stem or gauge outside the standard catalogue. Indicative lead time: 3-5 weeks.
